Hyderabad – Golkonda Fort

Golkonda Fort, popularly known in Telugu as “Golla Konda”, which means “Shepherd’s Hill”.It’s located 11 km west of Hyderabad with excellent transportation facilities.

One of the most important features of this fort is that the sounds of hands clapped at the entry gate can be heard quite clearly at the top of the hill.

Golkonda once renowned for the Diamonds. India, at that time, had the only known Diamond mines in the world. But, don’t search Diamonds now…! Just visit and enjoy !!!
